Bukit Shahbandar Recreational Park

We went to this Park about a week ago. It is literally 10 minutes drive from our house and really helped settle us in as it was exactly what we were missing. There are a lot of different paths and if you get lost and take the longest one, you would probably be there for hours. We set off very early in the morning to avoid the midday sun but it was still incredibly hot. A big water bottle is a must! We loved it overall and would most definitely be going back. Enjoy the piccies!

(On arrival)

(Yusuf enjoying the playground)

(This lizard stood still while I was taking the picture and the second I had taken it, it had gone! Prob related to Sarah H, suffering from poseritis)

(There were millions of ants around- this was a close up of an ant trail)

(The steepest hill in the world- it was a killer in the heat and humidity)

(Yusuf letting me know how he feels about climbing it)

(The view at the top. It was breath taking! There was a breeze that cooled us right down. The two long strips in the sea are part of the Empire Country Club)

(In the jungle)

(The view at one of the many observation towers located around the Park)

(On the way back)

(My favourite shot)

(This was a beautiful surprise- we weren't expecting to see this on the way back. It was so peaceful. We also saw a terrapin in the pond!)

(I was looking everywhere for a frog but couldn't find a single one!)

Hope you enjoyed the piccies. This is my favourite trip so far in Brunei and have spent a loooooooooooong time putting these pics up so you had better comment!!! xxx
