What has happened in the last week............

Bargain Shopping!
After converting everything to £- things are CHEEEEAAAAP!!! So I have been going crazy. And if we go KK (Malaysia) like we're planning to during half term, things are gonna be even cheaper!! Happy days!

Finding out at Yusufs Parents Evening that Yusuf knows Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin! So proud of him, nearly cried.

Giant flying ants EVERYWHERE!!! It's the mating season so they sprout wings and fly!! Like they're not bad enough without them! Here is a picture of them all dying outside our front door (they spray bug killer throughout the apartments once a week for the mosquitos). It was not good.







Coming up: Pictures from Jimmys (Yusufs friend) birthday party and NOT TO BE MISSED-Hari Raya Aidil Fitri celebrations thrown by the managers of the apartments we live in for all the residents. THERE WAS ENTERTAINMENT!! (I have videos!!)

(I had ordered a waffle with ice cream, this is what I got. It was HUUUUUUUUUUUGE!! Very tasty though so couldn't complain!)


(We bought a bread machine because the bread here is manky. Really horrible. This machine is my new best friend. It's brilliant!)


(Zaheer decided to make bread without any scales so he guesstimated everything and ended up with this horror which he tried forcing me to eat- it tasted like dried porridge. This was the FULL size of the loaf! It hadn't risen at all. Naturally when I made it, it was perfect!)
